If you could learn to do anything, supernatural included, what would it be?  Time travel or teleportation.  I am thrilled to be living in Asia, except when I’m boarding the 15 hour flight back to the US.  There are so many places in the world that I hope to visit and so avoiding travel time would be a great way to accelerate experiencing those destinations.

What would you name the autobiography of your life?  Born Lucky

If you could win a life-time supply of anything what would you want it to be?  I suppose ‘gold bullion’ is a bit too materialistic of an answer, so I would instead seek a life-time supply of sailing in the world’s most appealing waters.

What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?  Having lived in mainland China for 3 years, that’s a pretty long list – scorpions, honey bees, starfish, air dried yak meat, roasted donkey and camel, snake infused wine …. All very delicious but none would make it into my answer to the next question.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what one sandwich would you choose?  BLTA (A for avocado) has to be my latest favorite sandwich.  Sourdough bread, Heirloom tomatoes, extra crispy bacon, California avocados.  Now I’m hungry.

If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?  Being a part of the Marco Polo expedition from Italy to China and back would check a lot of boxes for me – interest in history, travel, cultures, languages, and food!
